"The Prosperity of Gusu" is created by Xu Yang, a painter of the Qing Dynasty in 1759. It depicts the city life of Suzhou at that time. In 1990, more than ten Suzhou embroidery artists led by Gu Wenxia reproduced the painting into an embroidery artwork (1400*35cm).
