Major Ukrainian offensive thwarted?

Russia says it thwarted a major Ukrainian offensive, killed hundreds, destroyed dozens of equipment, wich according to Russia happend in southern Donetsk. It may be speculated, that this may be the Ukrainian start of their offensive.
