1. As someone who was excited about trying out the Byrna TCR Ultimate Bundle, I have to admit, I was impressed. 2. The big box of Eco Rounds and a case of Co2 carts made it all the more worthwhile.
3. The first thing I noticed was the case that came with it, which looks impressive and made me feel satisfied already. 4. When I held the weapon, I was taken aback by how cool it looked and felt.
The hard resin type plastic with metal interior parts was a nice touch. 5. The weight of the gun felt good in my hands, and the stock could be adjusted in and out as per ones need.
6. I also found the snap-on storage clip for the second clip on the stock to be useful. 7. The gun has picatinny rails and pop up sights, and one could add multiple accessories if one wanted to.
8. Overall, I found that the Byrna TCR Ultimate Bundle was very fun to shoot, and it was easy to load both the gas and the rounds. 9. However, I did notice that the accuracy wasnt spot-on, and the rounds seemed to drift a little.
10. Still, I was able to hit a person-sized object at 20 yards, most of the time, which was satisfying. 11.
The pepper/tear gas rounds that could be used as a deterrent were sold separately, and the gun did come with a book-sized manual that explained almost everything.
12. One exciting thing to note was that we could shoot both clips and a few more rounds with just one gas cart. The gas cart does not get punctured until you shoot the first round, which I thought was cool.
13. The rounds do pack a punch, and it wouldnt be pleasant to be hit with one. 14. Overall, I have to say that while the Byrna TCR Ultimate Bundle is pricey, it is made really well, making it totally worth the investment.
While Im not sure when I would have to use it in a self-defense situation, I would feel confident using it.
