Growing Dragon Fruit Plant From Seeds - Time to Repot And Give Them a Trellis! | Dragon Fruit Plant

Today I'll be showing you how my little dragon fruit seedlings are coming along and we will be giving them a new pot and support. Growing dragon fruit plants from seeds can be super fun, they are a beautiful arty little cactus and it can take some time before they get going, once they do though, they will grow rapidly. We will likely re-pot these in a year or less to bigger pots. Dragon fruit plant is a tropical cactus that loves rich fertile soil and likes plenty of water, the fruits are very healthy and taste a little like a pear cross with a strawberry, it is a very berry-like texture. My Dragon Fruits are in flower again so in the next couple of months we will have a second crop of fruit which I will show you easily how you can grow dragon fruit plant from seed. Another name for dragon fruit "Pitaya" or "Pitahaya" growing pitaya from seed can be alot of fun and will be very exciting to see if and how they fruit in the future, stay tuned!
