The most nitpicked and overanalysed comic book on the internet gets yet another essay written on it! Isom #1 is the story of Avery Silman, a rancher who left the city life behind, who gets brought back into the big city after a family friend disappears under strange circumstances. There he meets with old acquaintances who have gone bad, gets into fights, and runs from the police. Oh, also, there's superpowers. Let's go with that!
