The Joe Biden Administration has been accused of "stonewalling", a legal attempt to reveal details of Prince Harry’s US visa application, using Freedom of Information Laws. The Washington-based think tank that is pursuing this case has described the decision as "outrageous". They had asked to fast-track the application on the basis of exceptional public interests. Heritage Foundation, a right-wing group, has asked a court to reverse the Department of Homeland Security's decision. A hearing is expected next month. In March, the Heritage Foundation called for the immediate release the Duke of Sussex’s visa records after he confessed to drug use in his memoir Spare. US Freedom of Information Laws allow for applications to be expedited if "there is widespread and exceptional media attention in which there are possible questions regarding the integrity of the government that affect public trust". The Heritage Foundation claimed that the Prince Harry visa case cleared this bar.
