COVID-19 pandemic has causes a lot of mental pressure in all our lives & we feel the STRESS & ANXIETY as we all try to navigate a new "NORMAL" In this context, Waves Women Empowerment

had

organized a webinar, which was based on "Stress

Management" on 17th of October 2021(Sunday), keeping in

view the many mental problems being faced due to

COVID-19. Our speaker was Dr. Arti Anand (Consultant Clinical

Psychologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital). In this webinar, she

gave us information related to STRESS, such as what do we

understand by stress, how stress affects our body, causes

of stress, signs and symptoms of stress.

And she also told us about its solutions, in which we can use many techniques, such as Positive self-talk, visualization, Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Pleasant Activities, Journaling, Yoga, Exercise and Mindfulness Meditation and very important REFLECTIVE LISTENING.

She also discussed "when should we seek a psychologist" and how much helpful it is to our mental health.

We are very thankful of Dr. Arti Anand ma'am, her presence and wise words helped magnify our cause in the best possible way.
