“Coercion or Liberty? 
9th In our series the Epistle of 2nd Peter

I. The Kingdom of Tyranny - Revelation 13:4-10
* A. Satan is all about deception and coercion
* B. Total financial control over every individual on planet earth, and every single transaction in the world economy - Rev 13:16-17  

II. The Kingdom of Liberty - Romans 10:13
* A. It is an eternal kingdom unlike all human kingdoms as well as unlike Satan’s kingdom - 2 Peter 1:10-11
* 1. It is a Kingdom open to all who will repent, believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
* 2. It excludes no one based on skin color, wealth, abilities or other external criteria - Revelation 5:9
* B. One must have the appropriate credentials to enter His Kingdom
* 1. If certain qualifications are met, then entrance to the Kingdom is abundantly supplied
* a. The calling by the King must be secured
* b. The election to His Kingdom must be established and the price of admission paid in full
* 2. Spiritual Passport into the Kingdom -
* a. Calling by Jesus Christ - call to repent, call to believe, call to receive
* b. Election - Romans 8:28-29
* c. God is not limited by time, He is in the Past, Present and Future all at the same time
* d. He foreknows who will and will not come to faith in Jesus Christ
* e. His predestination is that those who He foreknew would come to faith, would be sanctified, becoming like Jesus in character
* C. Given these criteria as so vitally important, we should do all in our power to diligently make them sure
