Chocolate Cake with Milk

Ingredients:

200 g butter
200 g sugar
4 eggs
200 g flour
50 g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
200 ml milk
Vinegar (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking tray by greasing it and dusting it with flour.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter together with the sugar until you obtain a creamy mixture.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the butter and eggs, alternating with the milk. Continue to mix until all the ingredients are incorporated, and you have a homogeneous batter.
If you want a fluffier chocolate cake, you can add a tablespoon of vinegar to the milk and add it to the batter at this point.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking tray and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
Bake the chocolate cake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the baking tray for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once the cake has cooled completely, you can decorate it with chocolate ganache or dust it with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
