The "New" Harley Sportster 48 Special & Iron 1200

As part of its plan to introduce 100 new motorcycles over 10 years, Harley-Davidson Inc. on Wednesday unveiled two Sportsters.

The Iron 1200 and the Forty-Eight Special are powered by Harley's Evolution 1200 engine. Anti-lock brakes and a security system are factory-installed options.

Harley says new fuel tank graphics distinguish the two Sportsters, combining bold color stripes with graphic elements popular in the 1970s.
