So this is the second in our new series with Bill Binney, who for years held the exalted position of Technical Director of the World for the Geopolitical and Military Analysis and Reporting Group at the NSA – in other words, he was their top technical guy.

It’s even worse than that. I have a friend who is a Congressional staffer and he told me that there was one PC in their office – not even in a SCIF – where if you wanted to know all about anybody, you could query either the FBI or the NSA database. He said it like it was a really cool thing and he would show me if I wanted to see it.
