On March 31, 2023, Madeline Kingsbury was last seen at her home in Winona, Minnesota.
That morning, Kingsbury and Adam Fravel dropped their children off at daycare shortly after 8:00 am before returning home. At 8:15 am, she sent a text message to her sister in which she replied to a funny picture.

Around 10:00 am, Fravel reportedly left home to run errands in the van Kingsbury normally drives, a dark blue 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, but when he returned later that day Kingsbury was nowhere to be seen.

Madeline Kingsbury never showed up to work that morning and hasn’t been heard from since. She didn’t pick up her children from daycare that afternoon or make any of her other arrangements.

That evening her family filed a missing person’s report with the Winona Police Department when they couldn’t contact her.

A Minnesota judge has ruled the children of a missing woman will remain in county custody rather than be released to their father who says he is cooperating with law enforcement “at every turn,” nearly two weeks after the disappearance of 26-year-old Madeline Kingsbury.

A highly respected special prosecutor has been brought out of retirement to help in the search for Madeline Kingsbury, the Minnesota mom who’s been missing for nearly eight weeks.
