Are Big, Heavy Vintage & Antique Items Worth Selling on eBay?

We love to try new kinds of things when we sell on eBay auctions! This is our chance to experiment with online selling, and this flight of items includes some cool but large and weighty items. Will people be willing to pay a lot of shipping to get something special?

Turns out the answer is yes! We're preparing to ship a huge French goose statue, a 20 pound chunk of Barbini glass to lucky recipients, send a cool bar sign to a Michigan breweriana museum, and make a new collector of World's Fair souvenirs very happy with a cocktail tray dated 1933!

We really enjoy sharing our sales and tales of the things we list on eBay, in hopes that you will benefit from seeing our strategies as we alter them with the market and what we have to sell. Was not allowing any Buy-It-Nows helpful or hindersome to stimulating bidding? Were we right to offer things at break-even levels to assure bidding action, or should we just shoot for the moon? Are auctions the best way to sell certain items, and what are the hot trends? (A Navajo necklace hammering over $600 is one clue in this video!)
