What is a mature church? - Alan Campbell

Is an exact understanding of eschatology and how it links to current events that makes a church mature? Is it that we're evangelistic, that we're sharing the message of Christ out there, in the world around us? Is that what makes us mature? That we're busy with evangelism?

Is it that we have well-organized programmes and we're just, you know, we're like a slick machine, a well-oiled machine and everything functions the right way? Is that what makes for a mature church? Is that what makes a believer mature?

Now, these things are not bad things in themselves - please don't get me wrong - but they are terrible replacements, terrible replacements.
