The Fox Racing Speedframe Mountain Bike Helmet is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a top-quality helmet that will provide the protection and comfort they need while out on the trails.
One of the things that stands out about this helmet is the visor. While it may not be necessary for everyone, the adjustments it allows for are a nice touch.
It goes up high enough to accommodate goggles if you decide to wear them. The color options for this helmet are not overly exciting, but the quality of the helmet makes up for it.
I ordered the medium, and the fit was pretty good, although slightly tight on the forehead. If you are in the middle of two sizes, the medium should work well.
One of the things that sold me on this helmet was the mips. It provides an added layer of protection that is worth the investment, in my opinion. Additionally, the spare set of inner pads is a nice bonus.
Compared to other helmets Ive had the same size, the Fox Racing Speedframe does run a little bigger. However, it still offers a comfortable fit, and the attention to detail, especially for the ears, is impressive.
I was on the fence about the helmet because I felt that it didn’t cover enough of the back of my head. However, other helmets on the market have the same issue.
I ended up going with the POC Tectal because I was able to find one in good condition for a similar price. As far as comfort goes, the Fox Racing Speedframe is excellent.
It has a lower profile than many newer designs, which is perfect if you dont want something too bulky on your head. Lastly, I cant say enough about the seller.
They were great to work with and made the purchase experience a breeze. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this helmet to anyone.
