Marina & Restaurant Business Acquisition Using SBA 7a Loan [Recently Closed Deal] https://investorfinancingpodcast.com/rumble

I was referred to the sponsor by a mutual friend who was looking to buy a marina in Wisconsin. The purchase price was around $2 million but there were a number of obstacles to overcome.

The main hurdle was that the majority of the income was coming from the onsite restaurant but the buyer had zero restaurant experience.

Additionally, we had to negotiate a partial seller carryback, structured 90 percent loan-to-cost with the bank.

I brought in two investor partners for the remainder of the equity injection required to close the deal.

Needless to say, this was a challenging project to get funded.
