I recently purchased the Humminbird 780028-1 UC H5 Unit Cover for my Helix Series fish finder, and I am extremely impressed with the product.
The cover fits my fish finder perfectly and is very secure, so I dont have to worry about it blowing off while in transit. I love the look of the cover; its sleek and sleek, so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb.
Plus, it provides excellent protection against any scratches, dust, or other debris. One thing to note is that the cover fits very snug, so it can be a bit of a challenge to put on at first.
However, I found that if you cover the button side first and work your way left, its much easier to avoid accidentally turning on the unit.
While the cover can seem a bit pricey for such a basic item, its worth the investment to protect your valuable fish finder. I have two of the exact same covers for two Helix 5 units, but I did have an issue with one of them not fitting properly.
However, when I contacted Hummingbird directly, they were very helpful and said they would replace it. While it did take a while to receive the replacement unit, I appreciated the excellent customer service.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Humminbird 780028-1 UC H5 Unit Cover and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality cover for their fish finder.
Just be prepared for a tight fit at first!
