Random Rants: INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT! The Little Mermaid SINKS Overseas! Review Bombers Blamed!

Disney has spent major money on the live-action Little Mermaid remake and were obviously counting on huge international numbers to bring home a hefty profit. However the international take after the opening weekend is closer to the bottom of the ocean than the surface, only bringing in $68.3M in overseas markets, bringing to total haul to $185M for the 4-day Memorial day total. This has to be nothing but bad new for Disney, who spent well north of $250M plus marketing on this film and are in desperate need of some good news.

Oh, and of course, they're blaming review bombing.
