Spring Day Hike to Find Hominy Mortar ~ Silent Hike

I was exploring my local area on Google Earth and found a trail I had not previously known about. It is called the Fork Ridge Trail and it has an East and West section. In the West section, I read about a place called Hominy Mortar which was a legend to be a place where Native Americans would grind their corn on some rocks. The forestry service however disputes that claim but it sounded interesting enough to go see for myself. Unfortunately, I did not locate it on this trip but will be back in the winter when things are not so overgrown. I will also do the East section at that time. I had a great day out in the woods despite not finding it. The weather was perfect. It also gave me a chance to use some more of my camera gear and test out different shots.
This was shot on Sony a6600 with the kit 16-50 lens. Moving shots were done with Zhiyun Crane M2S Gimbal. Brief Drone Shots were with DJI Mavic Air 2
