See v. 28: Christ shed His own Blood- BLOOD in biblical language signifies life... Christ shed His own blood on the Cross voluntarily to redeem all of mankind and to establish His Church.

See v. 18: THE GREAT CATCH OF FISH- is an image of the DISCIPLES bringing all of mankind to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and fulfills prophecy of Jeremiah 16:16.

Jeremiah 16:16: "Behold, I will send many fishermen, and they will fish them. After this, I will send many hunters, and they hunt them upon every mountain, upon every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks."

Christ's prayer is often called the High Priestly Prayer, it contains the basic elms of prayer a priest offers to God when a sacrifice is about to be made: GLORIFICATION, remembrance of God's works, intercession on the behalf of others, and a declaration of the offering itself.

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
