I recently purchased the UGLY FROG Cycling Clothes Short Jersey + Bib Shorts Set for my cycling adventures and I must say, Im thoroughly impressed. This is not my first purchase from Ugly Frog and I have to admit that Im quite impressed with their products.
I often cycle in hot weather, and these kits are perfect for my training and workout sessions. The fit of the kit is just as described, and I found it to be great value for money.
Its comfortable, and I had no issues with chafing or rashes during my ride. I am 62" and weigh 195 pounds, so I ordered a large, and it fit me perfectly.
The padding is just right for me, not too much and just the right amount of cushioning. Im glad the sizing fit well for me.
I went on a 22-mile ride with these shorts, and they were extremely comfortable, and I did not experience any discomfort or soreness throughout the ride.
The shorts are of good quality, and I love the design. However, there are a few things to note. Firstly, the logo is a direct knockoff of Castelli, so if you care about wearing original content, it might be an issue for you.
Secondly, the writing on the leg says "Ugly Furog" not frog. Im not too bothered by this, but if it concerns you, it is worth mentioning.
If you are on a budget and do not want to break the bank on high-end cycling wear, the UGLY FROG Cycling Clothes Short Jersey + Bib Shorts Set is an excellent buy.
It ticks all the right boxes in terms of comfort, value for money, and quality. If you care about what people think about your cycling wear, I recommend you go for the more expensive Castelli equipment.
Personally, Im quite pleased with my purchase, and Im considering getting a second pair.
