Special Shabbat & Shavuot Service

You are invited to join the TNS community this Friday in the TNS Sanctuary for a wedding and special Shabbat.

Each Friday night we welcome the Sabbath Bride into our homes, hearts, and communities with love and joy. But this Friday night, we are able to celebrate the wedding of God and the people of Israel through the holiday of Shavuot.

Shavuot is the anniversary of our wedding with God through the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. As is the traditional custom, we will be studying the ancient text , "Tikkun Leil Shavuot" all night... a text so meaningful that studying all of it is considered equal to studying all of the Torah, Bible, and Talmud combined.

This Friday, we will be celebrating both Shabbat and Shavuot. Our Shabbat service will start at 7:30pm, with the Shavuot celebration commencing immediately after the Oneg and continuing throughout the night.

So come celebrate the love of Shabbat and the beauty of the Holy Wedding this Friday, May 26 at 7:30pm. It is the custom to have dairy desserts on Shavuot, so please bring your favorite dairy desserts, cheesecakes, custards, and cream puffs to share (and keep us all awake through the night)
