The War hit the Mohawk Valley like a typhoon in 1777 with GEN Burgoyne's attempt to cut New York in half. Fort Stanwix, The Oriskany Battlefield, Fort Herkimer, Fort Klock, Fort Johnson, Guy Park Manor... I took these pictures while visiting my family in New York. Taking some leave in JUN 2005.
