TRAVELLING THROUGH THE HEART OF THE RICHTERSVELD TO FISH FOR YELLOWFISH IN THE ORANGE RIVER! part. 2

We travel through the heart of the Richtersveld to De hoop, where we will camp for three days next to the Orange River. On our way we stop at the hand of God, an iconic land mark situated 15km from Sendelingsdrif, the hand of God can be seen from the road. This rock face looks like it has a massive hand print pressed into the rock. Locals believe that when God created earth he pressed his hand on the mountain and left his hand print on this rock face! A pretty awesome sight to see!

From there. we travel on the gravel road through the rocky and harsh mountains to the Orange River. We quickly unpacked, got the tent up had a beer, off coarse so that Xandre and I can head off to the nearest rapid in the strong flowing river in the hopes of catching a yellowfish on lure!
