In this video, Mark Richardson, PhD talks about the particulate mercury that is inhaled by the dentist and patient. He says that the dentist's drill sends a spray of particulate matter when it hits dental amalgam or mercury or any material for that matter. This particulate matter is then inhaled by anyone in the area, and the level of particulate matter inhaled is very high and over the safe limit.
