After the spawn a lot of anglers lose track of the bass. Here's what you need to know! Some fish stay shallow around cover to recuperate from the spawn while others go out to deep water. The fish heading to deep water typically don't go far, back out to the first break or first piece of offshore cover. Come along for a day on the water as we target these fish!

Bass typically spend several weeks recovering from the spawn before continuing on to their Summer haunts. Tim and JD landed perfectly in this window in Central Florida and were able to target those fish effectively with a variety of baits. From chatterbaits to drop shots, they probed offshore isolated grass in search of big bass on a new fishery.

Below you'll find links to the exact baits and gear the guys used throughout the day as they explored the fishery. We've included the exact sizes and colors for each, along with some of key rods they relied on to get their fish in the boat. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.
