Opium Lettuce or Wild Lettuce Concentrate Extract (for pain & sleep)

When I started foraging, one of the herbs that I developed a relationship with the fastest was wild lettuce. During my time in college, I struggled with bouts of insomnia quite often. Before I got into foraging, I had attempted many different herbal remedies: chamomile, valerian, passionflower, and more. None of them worked. But, that changed when I found wild lettuce. After making an extract, I observed a noticeable improvement in my ability to fall asleep!

Every year since then, I have been improving my process, experimenting with different methods, and recording my results. I am so excited to get to share with you the outcome of my work with this herb over the years. This video goes over the details of how to make a strong wild lettuce preparation and also addresses some of the common pitfalls in the process!
