FDA fully approves Paxlovid to treat Covid-19 in adults

The Food and Drug Administration fully approved the anti-viral medication Paxlovid on Thursday to treat Covid-19 in adults at risk of severe infection. The drug was previously on the market under emergency use authorization but is now more widely available to treat mild to moderate Covid-19 infections.
