The National Debt Is a Really Bad Idea.

With all the debate about the debt ceiling, government deficit spending, and taxation I will go over today why I think a National Debt and Central banking are bad ideas that benefit a select few at the detriment of the general public.

People tend to think that a National Debt is necessary and leads to prosperity but in my opinion, it is quite the opposite.

We will look at the last time the National Debt was paid off in the United States and how it actually coincided with the charter of the Second Bank of the United States not being renewed.
