Why Do Good Writers End Up On Bad Shows?

The job of a writer is to take the job you can get. When you're a good writer on a show that isn't perceived well, it is still your job to serve your Showrunner's vision. On the other hand, bad writers on good shows are perceived to have higher clout. At the end of the day, your job is to write the story you're asked to write.
