Weapon-Wielding Professor: NYC College Fires Adjunct After Violent Outburst

Shellyne Rodriguez, a college professor in Manhattan, has been fired from her job after videos surfaced of her attacking pro-life students and threatening to harm a reporter with a machete. The shocking footage shows Rodriguez verbally assaulting students who were manning a pro-life stand before escalating to destroying their display. Even more horrific was her dangerous behavior towards a journalist investigating the incident, as she threatened to chop him up with a machete. It's disturbing to learn that such a person was in a position of power and responsibility in academia. What does this say about the state of academic freedom and integrity in our colleges?
