White House calls budget limit negotiations a ‘manufactured crisis’

At a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called the ongoing budget limit negotiations with House Republicans a “manufactured crisis.” Jean-Pierre criticized members of the House Freedom Caucus for “referring to the full faith and credit of the United States as a hostage.”
