Denver mayoral candidates Mike Johnston and Kelly Brough debate critical issues facing the city ahead of the upcoming June 6, 2023 runoff election. Each candidate gave answers on a wide range of issues during the Denver7 debate. We are breaking down the debate into separate questions and topics to help Denver voters have a deeper understanding of each candidate’s positions. With the city spending an estimated $20 million caring for migrants, we wanted to know each candidate's plan to help people and curb costs of the more than 10,000 migrants that have arrived in the city.
