Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Form the dough into a ball.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Preheat your oven to the highest temperature it can reach (usually around 500°F or 260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
