PCP or 'angel dust' is regarded as the most dangerous drug on the street today and its ready availability is a major problem in most large cities in North America. At the time this film was made, it was estimated that there were some seven million users in the United States, many of them of school-going age. Narrated by Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman, the film alerts viewers to the extreme dangers posed by a drug whose immediate impact is unpredictable and whose long term effects are unknown. Using documentary footage of people under the influence of PCP, it focuses on a number of individuals who have become habitual users, some of them young teenagers.
