In a recent appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico expressed her belief that AR-15s should be restricted from civilian ownership. The Governor firmly stated that individuals who are not members of the military or law enforcement should not have access to these "automatic weapons."

It's 2023, and you're still referring to AR-15s as automatic weapons? Either you're persisting in ignorance or intentionally spreading falsehoods. In either case, it should disqualify you from holding any public office. Moreover, it's particularly concerning that you're discussing firearm legislation without even understanding the distinction between the country's most widely owned civilian rifle and a type of firearm that has been banned since the 1980s.

What's more, you labeled the AR-15 as a weapon of war while simultaneously claiming that only the military and police should possess it. Madam, if AR-15s are indeed weapons of war, why would the police require them?
