BOOT CAMP VIDEO #6: A POWERFUL PRAYER: CAST OUT IMPURE SPIRITS: EAT TOO MUCH? DRINK TOO MUCH? CAST THAT DEMON OUT NOW!

The ministry of Jesus involved three things: sharing the good news of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, and casting out demons.

When our attention is taken away from God and our naturally abundant life, we can become anxious, overly hungry for food, drugs and alcohol, in need of way too much material comfort and ego recognition, crave immediate gratification, and be generally out of touch with a real and natural life.

Demonic influences cause us to draw attention away from God and the rich and full life that is naturally ours.

Humans are increasingly enslaved by prescription drugs, alcohol, greed, political drama, technology, and other addictions that lure us to take our eyes off God and what God has in mind for our lives. Our work as Disciples in Christ brings our attention back to God.

In this video, we say a prayer to purify ourselves and cast out any impure spirits.

Isaiah 66:1-2
These are the ones, declares the Lord I look on with favor: Those who are humble and contrite
in spirit, and who tremble at my word…”

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 10:3 - 5
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

John 14:6-8
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

John 14: 12-14
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Matthew 10:1
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.

Luke 10:19
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; none will harm you.

Luke 11:20 - 52
But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.

Please pray - right this minute, if you would - that our ministry accomplishes God's will and we be protected.
