The Denver Nuggets make history!! George talks about the epic win that send the basketball team to the NBA finals for the first time in history.  He reveals the superstition he followed during the game and then talks about a proposed change in Aurora that would establish a "strong mayor" system and take some power from the city council.

The hour starts with a conversation with the Colorado GOP Vice Chairwoman, Priscilla Rahn.  She and George discuss social media in schools and it's impact on kids along with ideas to expand the GOP reach in our state.  Then George and callers discuss why the GOP is having a difficult time connecting with voters under 35 years of age.

How does the GOP, local and national, attract younger voters?  George and callers reflect on the aging Republican party and what are the messages that can expand the reach of the party?  What are the aspirational/positive messages that can draw in voters under 40?

The demographics of the GOP is aging, how can the party reverse that?  What is the messaging that will resonate with the voter under 40 OR have they heard the messaging and rejected it? George and callers discuss if it's a messaging problem or an issues problem?  Right or wrong, the Democrats have a number of messages that are viewed as positive by younger voters, what can the GOP offer to counter the Dem messaging??
