How to Use an Autoscrubber to Top Scrub VCT Floors

Top scrubbing VCT flooring can be done with almost any autoscrubber, whether it is rotary or oscillating. In this video, we show the rotary unit and its unique feature to drop the pad off and put the pad back on. Not every unit has this feature.
Always use the BLUE scrub pad. It is more aggressive than the red but doesn't have any abrasive coatings on the fibers. The idea is to remove surface issues, but not to abrade the finish.
The use of an 8 pH cleaner instead of a daily neutral cleaning, helps in this process.
Always remember to rinse the floor with plain water before applying up to 2 coats of your favorite finish.
