To hide zeros in excel, first select the range of cells you wish to modify. Then press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard followed by pressing F then T. This will open up the Format Cells dialog box. From here, click on the Number tab and then select Custom from the Category list. In the Type field, enter three semicolons (;;;) and click OK. This action will remove all visible zeros from your selected range of cells without deleting their underlying values. This is a useful feature when presenting data to others, as it streamlines information without sacrificing accuracy. Remember that this shortcut can be accessed at any time to restore visibility of zeroes in a specified range of cells if needed.
