RAHEEM ON The 14th Amendment bait and switch: Yeah. This is the Democrat party who talks about having respect for Congress and how Republicans denigrated it and Trump denigrated it. Now they're coming out and saying, Hey, actually, we don't think we have to negotiate with congressional leaders. The supposed representatives of the public in any way, shape or form. We can circumvent the whole thing with this arcane clause in the 14th Amendment, which has something to do about respecting the debt specifically as it pertained to the Civil War. Right? It's legally bunked.
