J.C. Newman Angel Cuesta Salomones Cigar Review - This 7.25x57 perfecto stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed buttery soft oily wrapper with a small pigtail cap and pungent cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with thick plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing a deep dry oak with a building pepper and oily cayenne through the finish. The first third continues the perfect construction with body down to a medium and flavors shifted to a slightly sweet vanilla and nutmeg that comes more on the finish, with just a touch left of the pepper. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with notes adding a light coffee and cocoa to the mix. Ending at 1:45 the last third burned a bit slower with flavors largely the same but the coffee getting richer and taking over as the dominant note and the body up to medium-full with a touch of strength at the tail end.
