This video shows a Hobie Pro Angler 14ft pedal kayak (weight 140lbs) loaded easily into a shortbox (5.5ft) bed for transport using a KayakDIY hauling hitch adjustable bed extension setup. This is the best method for hauling and transporting large long heavy kayaks. These are available for SUVs and Trucks. However, we have other solutions for cars if they don't have a hitch.
