Yes! It is a bad thing to lose muscle mass. It’s not just the number on the scale it is the quality of weight lost. Lose muscle mass then regain fat mass after you stop taking the drug is not the best trade off.

Hard pill to swallow? Not really but the root issue is the one that no one wants to hear. And we ALL NEED TO HEAR IT! Including me. The best way to long term sustainable weight loss and health is through behavior change towards a healthy lifestyle. Eat real food, exercise regularly, drinking enough water, and improving your stress will never be turned into a pill. Is it tough? You are damn right it is. But we are going to keep coming up with new medical or surgical interventions to a lifestyle related problem?

Healthy lifestyle behaviors/choices have been around for years and yet we like to rely heavily on quick fixes, simple solutions, drugs, and better health care. Lifestyle is the best medicine for longevity and our overall health. Eat RFF, exercise regularly, get quality sleep, reduce stress, drink water, and fast periodically. Wellness coaches, nutritionist, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals who value lifestyle as an important medicine are the ones to listen to! Stay healthy all! @rff_lifestyle #health #wellness #healthylifestyle #life #lifestyle #medicine #chicago #personaltrainer #training #fit #gym #diet #weightloss #weightlossjourney #nutrition #fitness #workout #exercise #sleep #stress #intermittentfasting #lowcarb #keto #paleo #carnivore #vegetarian #motivation #success #results #eatclean
