Homemade Sabiki Rod for Kayak Fishing w/ Live Bait Fish!

This is a quick tackle tip on how to build your own fishing rod for sabiki rigs. Sabiki rigs are used to catch small bait fish which typically are used to catch much larger fish. However, I have seen folks in the midwest U.S catch multiple great eating perch via these rigs on a single cast.

Materials & Supplies:
1" PVC pipe (10ft section - cut to size preference)
A cheap reel (Got mine from Goodwill gently used)
Pipe Clamps- Stainless steel
Pipe foam insulator (1" size): optional but makes it float
