Ingredients:
• 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough or pre-made pizza dough
• 1/2 cup pizza sauce
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• Your choice of pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, diced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, olives, etc.)
• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
• Optional: additional spices and seasonings (e.g., garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the pizza dough package.
2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/4-inch thick. Cut the dough into rectangles, approximately 6x4 inches in size.
3. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce onto one half of each dough rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Spread the sauce evenly using the back of the spoon.
4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, and add your desired toppings on top of the cheese.
5. If desired, sprinkle some additional spices and seasonings over the toppings to enhance the flavor.
6. Fold the other half of the dough rectangle over the toppings to create a pocket. Use a fork to seal the edges of the pocket by pressing down firmly.

8. Brush the tops of the pizza pockets with beaten egg wash. This will help give them a golden, shiny appearance when baked.
