The Bixpy has been one of my favorite watersports products. I use it on my kayaks, paddleboards, and even handheld for snorkeling/diving! Bixpy has been reliable and durable, but I was able to suck some rope into it and break a propeller. I also broke an intake grill during the process of removing the rope. This is the first time I have broken any parts. I actually find it to be more reliable than my typical Watersnake trolling motors I used in past homemade builds. Today I thought I would show you how easy and affordable it is to replace parts on Bixpy. I like having the peace of mind knowing that my investment can easily be repaired by me and not always have to be sent off to a factory. Total cost of repair was around $15 which is less than most trolling motor propellers and shipping was quick! The job can be done in as little as 3-5 minutes by inexperienced individuals.
