Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow is "ready to provide a save passage for the vessels leaving Ukrainian ports", in order to launch the expected delivery of grain abroad.

"On our side, there are no difficulties", the diplomat told the press following a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara.

Lavrov blamed Ukrainian authorities for refusing to demine the ports, which delays the supply of grain, aggravating the food crisis.

"The only thing that is needed for the Ukrainians is to let their vessels leave the ports", he reiterated.
