Tchaikovsky's "Arabian Dance" or Coffeee is a part of his famous ballet suite, "The Nutcracker." "The Nutcracker" is a two-act ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1892. It has since become one of the most beloved and frequently performed ballets worldwide.

The Arabian Dance, also known as the Coffee (Arabian) Variation, is part of Act II of "The Nutcracker." In this scene, the young heroine, Clara, and her Nutcracker Prince arrive in the Land of Sweets, ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy. The Arabian Dance is one of the divertissements, or dance episodes, that take place in the palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
