Everyday night driving BMW M5 Competition Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection
5 years ago
Using infrared technology, BMW Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection detects animals, pedestrians and other potential road hazards up to 1,000 feet ahead in the dark. These items are displayed on the BMW Navigation system monitor: cooler objects appear darker, warmer objects are brighter. At approximately 330 feet, the system can sense if the animal or pedestrian is about the cross the road, and displays a warning.
